TDP President Sri N.Chandrababu Naidu has condoled the immolation of MBA second semester student, identified as Lunavath Bhojya Naik, of HanamKonda arts college at Warangal for immolating himself here on Saturday seeking statehood for Telangana.

In a statement released at NTR Bhavan the TDP President urged students to not be carried away emotionally and wait patiently for a political settlement to the issue.

He conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved family of Bojja Naik and said such emotional acts should be halted as the political parties and those in power were engaged seriously on the demand for Telangana and would strive to achieve it soonest.
